parenting programs

the caring connections program is to help momswith children zero to six years, providing programsand services for them. one client came in,and had just had her baby, so she came through treatment, she had just given birthjust prior to coming in, she since has her baby back, completed our program, went to aftercare, has her baby back, and has gotten housing as well.

so, that’s pretty – that’s about as positiveas you can get! so she’s back on track, you know, she’s back reunitedwith her child, and doing very, very well. for the momto come into treatment, and not be using at the time of birth, the baby’s chancesare a lot better. the lhin provided the funding for,and enhanced –

or perhapspost-traumatic stress. because if you dealwith just the addictions and you don’t touchon the mental health, what happens when they leave, is they’re going to probably relapse, because it could be that

they were maskingtheir mental health issues by using drugs. if we’re dealing with those issuesat the same time,

we’re gonna have better successrates for sure.
