hey guys shawn here for another two minute tip tuesday. today's 2 minute tip is on parenting in the pew hacks. i will give you three parenting tips if you have a child like mine who has trouble sitting in the pew and gets bored and you have trouble getting them to participate in the worship service. this video is for you. keep watching. parenting in

the pew hack number one: pipe cleaners you can never have enough pipe cleaners in the church pew. they are quiet, they promote and encourage creativity. your child can make so many things with pipe cleaners from funny glasses to weird animals. and they keep hands and minds active so as your child is playing with pipe cleaners they can be listening to

what's going on. and we all know that kids are sponges and even though they pretend like they aren't listening or they are not paying attention. they are soaking it all in and by giving them something to create in the pew encourages them to listen and participate in the worship service parenting in the pew hack number two: a

storybook bible is a great tool to have in the pew with you. your child can look at the colorful pictures. it helps them focus on god and the worship experience even though they're looking through a book they are looking through a bible and they can also look for the scripture that the sermon or the day is centered around. and

you can help your child find that in the storybook bible so that they can look through the pictures and follow along. if you are looking for suggestions for a storybook bible i will post a link somewhere on the screen that you can click on that will take you to some suggestions. a lot of times kids and my son is one of them have

trouble sitting still in the pew and need something to hold onto and fidget with and rather than it being a noisy bulletin or something else noisy i don't know how kids make paper sound so noisy but they do. you can take this called the tangle teezer. and i found it on amazon and here's what the package looks like. i can't remember how much it is but i will
